Description
The Santa Maria AVA was the second appellation recognized in California, a distinction owed to its superb reputation for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. As one of California's coolest AVAs, with one of the longest growing seasons in the world this Pinot Noir exudes pure complexity: aromas of dark cherry, cinnamon, clove, and star anise, with subtle hints of rose petal and smoke. This red wine is rich and silky, with a bright note of smoke and dark cherry on the finish.
This red wine delivers aromas of dark cherry, cinnamon and campfire. Flavors of red fruit and violets accompanied by a distinctive earthiness on the palate, finishing very smooth on the finish.
